Looking Glass Arch - Climb and Rappel

What an exciting adventure awaits! The Looking Glass Arch is a unique and thrilling destination for any adventurer or person that can handle a little scrambling up some steep slopes. The climb up to the top of the arch is approximately 350 feet, which can be a challenge for someone not familiar with these types of activities, but a breeze for anyone that's dabbled in climbing or someone that is in fairly decent shape.
At the top, the La Sal and Abajo Mountains are both in full view, offering breathtaking vistas.
After taking in the scenery, you'll have the opportunity to walk down to a unique slit in the dome, which is actually the start of another arch. And then, you'll get to rappel 115 feet down to the ground! This is an incredible experience, especially since the rappel is free hanging from start to finish. That means you'll be suspended in mid-air until you reach the ground. It's a thrilling and exhilarating experience that will leave you with an unforgettable sense of adventure.
