Exposure Therapy with Canyon Country Adventures - Honeymoon Chimney
Nestled on Parriott Mesa in Castle Valley, Utah, Honeymoon Chimney is a stunning tower that offers an unparalleled climbing experience. With its breathtaking aesthetics and low traffic, this route is a must-do for any climber looking for a unique and wild adventure.
The route consists of four pitches, each with its own unique characteristics.
The first pitch is an incredible offwidth-to-chimney adventure that's perfect for top-rope enthusiasts. The first pitch is runout offwidth/chimney with some moderate 5.10 climbing, making it a thrilling experience for those who dare to take the lead. However, if only following on top-rope, this pitch is a great chance to test your skills at some high quality offwidth.
The second pitch is a fun and easy stemming pitch that will leave you feeling like you're a caver or canyoneer. With 100% stemming, you'll be mostly using your legs to hop up this pitch.
The third pitch is a game-changer - it's a rare and exhilarating climbing experience that will leave you beaming with joy (or fear). This unique climbing section is unlike anything else in the desert, and you'll feel like you're on top of the world as you make your way up.
The final pitch is a gentle 5.8 handcrack that leads to the summit, where you'll be rewarded with breathtaking views of the Colorado River, Fisher Towers, and Castleton Tower.
This route is perfect for experienced climbers who want to feel the air beneath their feet and the rush of adrenaline through their veins. Get ready to take your breath away on Honeymoon Chimney - it's an adventure you'll never forget!
