Aid Climbing
Aid climbing opens the door to many routes that cannot be physically climbed. It is a thrilling and challenging way to conquer the vertical world, and our course is designed to equip you with the skills and knowledge you need to tackle big walls. Our basic aid climbing course focuses on the use of traditional gear such as cams, brassies, offsets, talon hooks, and cam hooks, teaching you how to effectively use these tools to make your way up the wall. But it's not just about climbing - we'll also cover ascending skills using jumars, hauling gear bags, and setting up a porta-ledge, giving you a comprehensive understanding of how to navigate the ups and downs of aid climbing. And because everyone learns at their own pace, our course can be tailored to your level of need - whether you're a beginner or looking to brush up on your skills, we offer a full-day lesson, or even two-day lesson that includes a night spent sleeping on a porta-ledge approximately 300-400 feet off the ground.
